Interview with Colorist Dave Pickett

Dave Pickett is someone whose work you've probably seen without ever realizing you were looking at it. As one of the leading television and cinema colorists in the world, Dave has been enhancing images in commercials for products such as Coca-Cola and Moe's, and television and film projects including "Homework" and "The Adjustment Bureau." Yet he is also an accomplished songwriter whose most recent album, "Truce," was mastered at Abbey Road studios in London. Host Adam Cole asks Dave to give us a tour of the art of the professional colorist with real-time examples, and then explain the connections to music. Don't miss this unique and fascinating interview!

Thanks, Theodore Roethke, for the inspiration for the title. I am a compulsive creator, and so I've compulsively interviewed writers, musicians, creatives and anyone who I think knows something I don't. If you're interested in the creative life of the mind, come join us on this journey!
