The next collection of demos is ready to hear

Last Thanksgiving Week, having just finished my TCC and actually having a little leisure for the first time in months, I exploded and wrote about eight songs. I added them to two pre-existing songs and I will be registering the collection of ten at the copyright office soon.

To demo my songs, I make some kind of basic recording of them, and I listen to them in my car until I’m sure that the songs are finished from a writing standpoint, and that the performances convey the general feeling, however unpolished. Then I register them.

The collection includes four love songs I wrote my wife while I was trying to write her the perfect love song, one song I wrote for my youngest son Nathaniel, aged 17, and various others that came from sundry places in my life.
