Billy Joel Singalong?

All right, Rico!

When I agreed to do an Elton John Singalong, I did it on a dare.

When I decided to do a Bruce Springsteen performance of the “Born to Run” album, it was a dream.

But Billy Joel?

It’s just a fantasy.

Billy Joel was the first solo artist I went absolutely nuts over. I collected all his albums, hunted for rarities, even joined the Billy Joel Completely Retold group on Facebook. Many were the times I thought about performing a concert of his hits.

Here we go.

With a full band, including two guitars, two backup singers, and a horn section including sax, trumpet and trombone, we’re going to rock the best acoustic room in the city of Decatur on Saturday, March 29 at 4 PM in the afternoon.

So you can bring the kids. So you can have dinner afterwards.
